Seasonic Focus SPX 2021 Seasonic's new FOCUS SPX line is versatile and efficient at small sizes. It is a standard SFX unit measuring 125 mm (L) x 100 mm (W) x 63,5 mm (H). Smart and silent fan control The first in the industry, patented by Seasonic, advanced three-phase thermal control, which provides optimal parameters between silence and cooling. This hybrid, silent fan control works in three operating stages: fan-free mode, silent mode and cooling mode. Fluid bearing High-performance fans with dynamic fluid bearing (FDB) are designed to use the oil impact absorption effect. They are extremely reliable and generate much less noise and heat during operation than fans with ball bearings. Bearing surface grease reduces friction and vibration, thereby reducing total energy consumption. Thanks to its smoother, quieter rotations and robust design, this reliable fan technology significantly increases fan life. As the fan shaft rotates, high pressure oil drifts along the grooves of the bearing sleeve, forming a thin layer of grease between the bearing surfaces. As speed increases, the dynamic oil pressure rises, and the shaft is lifted from the bearing to provide smooth, effortless rotations. The fibrous shape of groves helps effectively drain grease and prevent leakage.
