Thanks to the good compression properties, the soft pad is particularly delicate for the elements, while at the same time well conducts heat. In addition to the standard format for M.2, TP-3 is available in various sizes and thicknesses that can be easily cut to the desired shape and size. This makes it ideal for RAM, chipsets and integrated circuits of all kinds, which are used in PC computers, laptops, consoles, graphics cards and in electronic devices in general. Thanks to the good properties of the tightness of thermal pads, they perfectly fill uneven surfaces and air slots without stressing sensitive and protruding elements. Minimising thermal resistance The ARTTIC TP-3 is electrically insulating, adhesive and easy to use. This means that in many areas of application optimal and safe heat transfer can be ensured. The thinner the pad, the less thermal resistance. The TP-3 pad with a thickness of 0,5 mm can be easily squeezed up to 0.3 mm and thus offset the differences in height between individual components reaching up to 0.2 mm. Please note that due to the extremely low hardness of mounting the 0,5 mm pad requires special care.
